Employment Objectives
I want to acquire a job in public gardens
or design that challenges me and my horticulture background. I want
to feel like I am learning something new everyday while working.
Educational Background
Experience
Irrigation System Installation, Design, and Repair
I spent the summer of 1999 working for
Dublin Irrigation just outside of Columbus. We were a large-scale
company who performed residential and commercial design and installation.
I also spent time servicing and repairing systems around the city.
4-99 through 11-99
Landscaping
During the summer of 1998, I had a job on the landscape crew
for Cua's of Columbus. We performed a wide variety of services inluding
design, tree and plantlife installation, mulch spreading, paver work, and
patio, deck, and step installation. 6-98 through 11-98
Landscaping
During the summer of 1997, I had a job
with Briarwood Landscape in Canton, Ohio. This is what initially interested
me in the field when my actual intent was just to find a job while I was
home from school for the summer. The company dealt strictly with
the green aspect: tree, plantlife, and lawn installation, and mulching.
6-97 through 9-97
Personal Interests
I enjoy working outside, mountain biking,
working out, running, skiing, snowboarding, dogs, cooking, eating, music,
going to concerts, and trying new things. My social life is important
to me. I am happy when I find a stable medium between getting my
work done and spending time with friends and family. The career I
seek will permit the satisfaction of getting a job done and balancing it
with personal time.
